Reminder

Washington Youth Sports Assoc attempts to provide the opportunity for all children to play baseball and softball regardless of their ability.   This is why we have the regular division and also the competitive divisions.

We feel that winning is NOT everything, but each game is a learning experience, win or lose.   Children learn from the actions of adults and as adults, coaches, managers, fans, and parents must be ever conscious of this fact.

We have recently had some complaints about the actions of managers and/or coaches. Sometimes adults forget what the game is about and we all may need a simple reminder.   We hope that this is the case in these situations and that a reminder will make them stop and think and we all move forward.   However, if this is not the case, the board is ready to take more firm action.  

We do appreciate all your time and efforts for the kids.   That is why we are all volunteering our time, for the kids.

Please take a moment to reflect on your actions throughout the season and make sure that they are appropriate.   Please take time to read the rulebooks.   If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your division chief.
